Profile - Brian Ward
Brian Ward has an unbroken 40 year history as a senior legal practitioner in Australia. He is the founder and Managing Director of Brian Ward & Partners Pty Ltd, a Melbourne-based law firm providing commercial legal services to local, national and international clients.
Brian’s recent commercial experience includes:
- achieving a mediated resolution of a seemingly intractable dispute between joint venture partners;
- developing effective documentation to achieve generational succession of several large family held assets;
- conducting Federal Court proceedings raising issues of breach of fiduciary duties;
- providing advice to a large private construction company in creating a joint venture to design and build renewable energy sources;
- restructuring a significant service provider in the construction industry in Australia; and
- representing a major sporting body on a range of issues.
Brian has also sat on many boards including:
