Wayne Gardner Wows Young Lawyers

Wayne Gardner, the former World 500cc Motorbike Champion was the keynote speaker at Brian Ward & Partners firm conference held in August at the RACV Centre.

The theme of the conference was Fine Tuning and Wayne inspired the conference with his insights of what attributes go into creating a champion performance.

He spoke of ambition, managing fear, recognising opportunities, having passion, hard work and risk taking. Perhaps his most lasting insight was about failure.

His message was that if you are not experiencing failure, you are not putting yourself into a sufficiently challenging environment.
