Penelope Pengilley joins Brian Ward & Partners as a Director
The board is delighted to announce that prominent senior legal practitioner Penelope Pengilley has joined the board of Brian Ward & Partners Pty Ltd and will lead a new corporate reconstruction, insolvency and general litigation group.
Penny brings with her over 25 years senior commercial litigation experience in contract, trusts, directors’ duties, competition & consumer protection, copyright, professional negligence, insurance, shareholders’ disputes and Corporations Act matters. Calling upon this diversity of experience, Penny is able to provide practical, strategic advice on the management of difficult commercial disputes.
Penny is well recognised for her expertise in corporate reconstruction and insolvency advising directors, insolvency practitioners, creditors, landlords, customers and other stakeholders in distressed companies. Working in this sector, she has a commitment to alternative dispute resolution. She has a strong interest in husbanding limited litigation resources and developing innovative and cost effective ways of preparing cases for trial.
Penny is a published author and is in demand as a speaker. She also has an interest in regulatory reform in insolvency. Her views are often sought by industry leaders and decision makers.
