BWP history

Brian Ward founded the firm in 1976 and continues to serve the company as its managing director. Geoff Rees arrived in 1983. The two founders built the enviable reputation of the firm over the next two decades.

In January 2004 Sue Phillips joined the firm from Corrs Chambers Westgarth to lead a team in the firms growing risk management and commercial litigation practice. Ross Higgins joined in February 2006 to head up the firms new corporate restructure, tax and superannuation team.

Brian Ward & Partners has proudly represented a number of global, national and Victorian based organisations in the delivery of business advisory and dispute resolution services. These clients have been drawn from the manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, leisure, not for profit, education and goverment sectors.
