History
Brian Ward founded the firm in 1976 and continues to serve the company as its Chairman and Chief Executive. Geoff Rees, the other founding director, established the firm’s corporate advisory practice when he arrived in 1983.
Sue Phillips joined in 2004 after many years leading the legal team within a public sector utility and many years within a large law firm environment.
More recently, Malcolm Speed, formerly Chief Executive Officer of Cricket Australia and more recently of the International Cricket Council, rejoined the firm after a fifteen year absence as an independent director.
Cam Johnston joined the firm this year. He is a former national chairman of partners of Blake Dawson. More recently he was an Executive Counsel to AWB Limited advising on a range of issues arising from the Royal Commission conducted by Commissioner Cole into the UN Oil-for-Food Program.
The firm continues its almost forty year history of providing quality corporate advisory and dispute resolution services to selected corporations dealing with challenge or change.
