He served as Chairman of the Australian Bali Appeal Committee between 2002 and 2004. University of Melbourne Director Geoff Rees has a long-term association with the University of Melbourne. He is a director of Uniseed, a venture capital incubator for technology inventions produced at the University of Melbourne and the University of Queensland.
