Corporate shadow directors- running the show? Insolvency and turn around service providers take note

Akron Roads Pty Ltd (in liq) v Crewe Sharp & ors [2015] VSC 34 (13 February 2015) is a recent case which touches upon the idea of a company being a shadow director of another company. It also shows that the liquidator of a plaintiff can join as third party the insurer of a defendant where its liquidators do not do so. Liquidators and those providing restructuring and turn around services should take note.
